You're more than your labor.

CALLING IN BLACK WOMEN WHO "DO IT ALL" FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

LIFT THE PRESSURE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.

Release the "Strong Black Woman" narrative.

A virtual healing/vent circle for Black women ready to put down the pressure to hold everything—and everyone—together. We're charting a new path. Join us!

Co-hosted by Black Women Therapists, Dr. Cecily Moore & Marissa Price, MSW, LSW

Together, we’ll explore the "Strong Black Woman" trope and the ways expectations around strength, caretaking, self-sacrifice, and emotional suppression can show up in our families, relationships, workplaces, communities—especially during the holidays.

But we don't just want to talk about it. We want to give you space to release some of it.

There will be room to reflect. Room to vent. Room to laugh. Room to be frustrated. Room to say the thing you may not be able to say at the holiday table. Room to hear another Black woman say, “Me too.”

And room to consider: What might this season feel like if I stopped measuring my worth by how much I can carry?

You are allowed to put something down. And you don't have to carry the holidays—or the people you love—on your back.

If I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies for me and eaten alive.
